At Saint Laurent du Var, the shopping center is undergoing a complete renovation aimed at reinforcing its attractiveness. Located at the mouth of the river Var, this vast complex enjoys an exceptional location, with strong requirements in terms of landscape integration. The project is structured by the planting of a green ribbon echoing the flexible facade of the commercial building.This ribbon constitutes a powerful vegetal envelope composed of exotic essences which follows pedestrian circulation including parking spaces. The objective of the project is to stage the presence of the shopping center in the urban landscape by bringing together all the planted areas in a single movement linking three large landscape systems : the  banks of the river Var and its endemic plant procession(1st Nature, wild), the existing tree-line urban frame which surounds the shopping center (2nd Nature, constraint) , and a new landscape , exuberant and spectacular that accompanies the entrances to the site(3rd Nature, artificial).
